Vincenzo Abbruzzese has been the director of the Valdicava vinery since 1987, and he learned how to make the greatest Brunello di Montalcino from his grandfather, whose production dates back to 1968. Some wine critics believe that Valdicava might be argued to be one of the top three or four Brunello di Montalcino producers.
