The grapes for this wine are sourced from the highlands of Rind Village in Vayots Dzor, Armenia—a region known for its ancient winemaking traditions and exceptional terroir.
Rind Village: A Land of Beauty and Heritage
Situated at 4,500 feet above sea level in the Areni Municipality of Vayots Dzor, Rind is a historic village nestled within the Vardenis mountain range, overlooking the Arpa Valley. The name “Rind” in Armenian conveys meanings of beauty, pride, and distinction—qualities that are deeply reflected in the wines produced here. Founded in the early 1800s, Rind is home to some of Armenia’s finest vineyards, alongside world-renowned wineries such as Zorah Wines and Yacoubian-Hobbs.
Voskehat: The Queen of Armenian Grapes
An ancient and revered white grape variety, Voskehat—meaning “golden seed” in Armenian—is often called the Queen of Armenian Grapes. Thriving in Armenia’s diverse terroirs, it is widely used as both a single varietal wine and as a primary component in white blends.

Voskehat wines are typically medium to full-bodied with moderate acidity, prized for their distinctive floral aromas. On the nose, it reveals elegant notes of lemon verbena, jasmine, citrus blossom, stone fruit, and an array of white flowers.
