Camparo have been dedicated to winegrowing for three generations, and they do it with passion, following a production philosophy that has always been founded on the values of natural management of the soil and the uncompromising wholesomeness of the winemaking process. In the year 2000 Mauro harnessed these intrinsic values by taking the major step of obtaining “organic farming” certification and becoming one of the first in the Langhe to opt for this production philosophy.

The secret of the success of this family business lies today in continuing to draw on traditions, whilst always looking to the future!

Soil - Clay-calcareous, calcareous-siliceous, marl of Diano

Grape Variety - 50% Dolcetto 25% Nebbiolo 25% Barbera

Vinification - Separate traditional fermentation for each grape variety, with daily pumping the must over the cup for at least 15d ays up to 30 days

Aging - Dolcetto age in stainless steel tank, while the Nebbiolo and the Barbera are aging separately for 12 months in French Oak. Then the wine are blended for 6 months of affination.

Aroma – Elegant notes of fruit

Tasting Notes – Medium body and a persistent long finish
