James Suckling is a former Senior Editor and European Bureau Chief of Wine Spectator and an American wine and cigar critic. Suckling is widely considered one of the most influential wine commentators in the world. Suckling tasted an average of 4000 wines per year while at Wine Spectator, half of which were Italian wines. He tasted some of them blind at his Italy office, while others he tasted on-site at the respective wineries.
Suckling is a known promoter of Bordeaux wine, but he also enjoys Italian wines, stating that Italian grape varietals such as Sangiovese, Aglianico, and Nebbiolo are "completely unique." James Suckling rated wines are highly appreciated by wine lovers and you can order them now on mywineplus.com
